Description

2001 National RV Tradewinds 7370 37' Class A Motorhome. CAT Diesel Engine. Slide Out, Awning, Sleeps 4, Dual A/C Units, Leveling Jacks.

I am the second owner of this coach. It was originally built as a traveling live-aboard home on wheels. No liteweight wood construction here but rather it?s built of aluminum, steel and compressed foam & fibreglass . I have tried to keep it in good repair and condition. Over the years we have collected many items to make our RV time enjoyable. I am going to leave those items in the RV so that the purchaser will not need to spend a bunch more money to begin enjoying the RV. You may have seen pictures of other RVs that are completely stripped, sanitized, clean and ready to drive away, but you?ll need to spend lots more money for necessary things like hoses, tank chemicals, cleaning supplies, etc., etc.. to use it - but if you purchase my coach, all of that comes for free. The outside compartments contain many spare parts and items to make your RV time pleasant and fun . I will also include an extensive complement of hand tools, electrical supplies, and other items necessary to keep the coach in top condition .The kitchen is fully furnished with cooking utensils, dishes, glasses, cutlery - everything you need for four people, The only additional things you will need are your clothes, your linens plus food and drinks! A listing of the additional free items is at the end of this description. Oh, and an optional item is our towed car - a 2014 Honda CR-V (the last year that the CR-V can be ?flat towed, 4 down?). It is complete with a Blu-Ox easy release tow bar and base plate, lights connection and a Mountain Master auxiliary proportional braking system.

I am selling the coach because I am now 86 years old and my doctor has put me in hospice care for terminal cancer.

Important questions and answers:

Pets? No - no dogs no cats no birds!

Smoking? No never.

Water leaks? One small leak at the front cap on the passenger side - immediately repaired with Eternabond tape, and all other possible areas of leak were also sealed so there have been no further water leaks in years.

Tires? Yes, all six tires were replaced with new Firestone?s when I purchased the coach. In addition, I have a mounted spare on a proper wheel that also goes with the coach. (I usually carry it in the towed car.)

Generator condition? Excellent, it runs well, provides good clean power and has only 540 hours on it. There is a remote start for it at the drivers position on the dashboard.

Wrecks? No, never, of course at this age there are some minor dings in the front and back Fibreglass which have been repaired.

Items not working:

The remote control electric motors in the adjustable rear view mirrors don?t work;

The two solar panels on the roof are original and IF you want that added battery boost then they should be replaced-but I haven?t found it necessary;

Several gas lift supports for the external compartment doors have failed and are somewhat expensive to replace so I have been using a simple support stick to hold them open;

Several external compartment door latches have failed (broken pot metal latch) and I have not been successful in locating any replacements. I have moved some latches to ensure each compartment door has one good lock;

A couple of the window blinds need to have the pull strings replaced;

Upgraded / added items - interior:

Flat screen TV with Bose bookcase speakers;

Full Queen foldout sofa bed with foam egg-crate topper - Not a jackknife or drop-down bed;

MDF sun shades on driver & passenger side windows;

Toaster & Grill Oven (near new);

Household (120v) two-door fridge/freezer (eliminated gas fire risk);

Many lights converted to flouro or LED to reduce electric consumption;

Items to remain with the coach:

Full wraparound fabric garage with tie-downs & anti-billow straps (expensive);

Two CB radios - a Cobra for local / weather information and a Uniden SSB (Single SideBand) for distance / skip communication;

SWR meter - needed to recalibrate after installation of CB antennas (need to remove them to put on cover);

Dell Large Screen PC with Garmin GPS (highway navigation) and over 10,000 (ten thousand) tracks of music in most genres except heavy metal;
